Rapid test kit and reference standards for ciguatoxin detection

The CiguaTools project focuses on the development of a rapid test kit and supporting reference standards capable of detecting the emerging fish toxin ciguatoxin in European and global waters.

This initiative, developed by CIFGA, has been funded by the European Commission under the FP7-SME-2012 project (Code 315285) within the specific programme ‘Capacities’: Research for the benefit of SMEs.
