Talent training: 114 people have spent a total of 56,000 hours on internships in the various companies of the group.
After a fascinating 15 years in business, it is a good time to reflect on the significant achievements made by the AMSlab Group in the field of Human Resources and talent recruitment and training.
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, we are proud to highlight our close collaboration with educational and training entities. This commitment goes beyond the execution of projects, as it has become a favourable space where students and recent graduates can gain their first experience in the business world through internship programmes.
The figures reveal that the AMSlab Group stands out as one of the leading companies both in the Lugo region and in Galicia in terms of collaboration in this sense. With an average of 8 people per year participating in internships at various levels of training in our facilities, this position is remarkable, especially considering the size of our organisation.
This achievement is the result of the integral commitment of the entire organisation, from our Management, which has established collaboration with educational entities as a fundamental value, to each of the workers who welcome, train and supervise the students who participate in this programme.
The data reveals that 114 people have spent a total of 56,000 hours on internships in the various companies of the group. It is noteworthy that 64% of these participants are women, consolidating our firm commitment to the insertion of women in the field of science, reflecting an inclusive and equitable approach.
Additionally, 92% of the students come from Galician schools, reinforcing our collaboration with the local environment.
The academic diversity is also remarkable, as we have collaborated with more than 50 different degrees, with 62% of the trainees coming from science and 38% from administration, IT and human resources, among others.
A relevant milestone is that more than 20% of the people who have done internships at AMSlab have gone on to get an employment contract in one of the group’s companies. Currently, 12% of our permanent staff joined us after successfully completing their internships.
These results underline the positive impact of our internship initiative in training and developing talent, as well as in contributing to the employability of those who have participated in our programme.
In this context, we celebrate these 15 years of success, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to professional growth and social responsibility.
